A journalist is someone who looks at the world and the way it works, someone who takes a close look at things every day and reports what he or she sees, someone who represents the world, the event, for others. That is the goal of Voice of the Pride.
Voice of the Pride provides the students of Mountain Pointe High School with a forum for information, entertainment, as well as intelligence, humor, and cultural diversity. All copy, photographs and graphics appearing in the Voice of the Pride are the sole property of the paper and may not be reproduced without the specific written consent of the Editor-in-Chief or adviser. Staff and guests columns are accepted from all readers. Signed opinions and columns, whether staff or guest generated, are published to provide various viewpoints, as well as to encourage debate on issues important to the Mountain Pointe Community. Such opinions represent the views of the author and not necessarily those of the newspaper. Mountain Pointe accepts original, unpublished letters from all readers. Voice of the Pride reserves the right to edit letters for clarity and for brevity.
